Cold-drawn tubes
The outer diameter and wall thickness tolerances are extremely small (for example, in the national standard GB/T 3639, the outer diameter tolerance grade of cold-drawn tubes can reach h8/h9, and the wall thickness tolerance can reach H8). No secondary processing is required for direct assembly, which reduces mechanical processing costs (such as in scenarios like hydraulic cylinders and precision bearing blocks, cold-drawn tubes can be directly used as base materials).After cold drawing, the surface is smooth without oxide scale or scratches, eliminating the need for additional pickling or polishing. This can reduce fluid resistance (such as in hydraulic oil and coolant delivery pipes) and avoid corrosion risks caused by surface defects.By controlling the cold-drawing deformation and annealing process, the hardness, strength and toughness of the tube can be precisely adjusted. It can not only meet the strength requirements of high-pressure scenarios (such as hydraulic systems) but also satisfy the toughness requirements of low-temperature scenarios (such as refrigeration equipment).

The inner hole surface roughness (Ra) can be as low as 0.2-0.4μm, and super-finished products can even reach Ra 0.025μm. The outer surface roughness is mostly Ra 1.6-3.2μm, which reduces frictional resistance and wear of seals.The surface of finished products is free from defects such as oxide scale, scratches, pits and cracks, avoiding seal failure or hydraulic oil contamination caused by surface impurities.The main materials used are 20# steel and 45# steel. Among them, 20# steel has good plasticity and excellent weldability, making it suitable for medium and low-pressure oil cylinders; 45# steel has higher strength and can be used in high-pressure oil cylinders after quenching and tempering (modulation treatment).The base material must have high strength and toughness. The common tensile strength is ≥600MPa, and the yield strength is ≥350MPa. It can withstana working pressure of 10-31.5MPa or even higher, while having good impact resistance and fatigue life.
Hydraulic steel tube

The finished products must pass a hydrostatic test (the test pressure is usually 1.5-2 times the working pressure) to ensure no leakage.Super-finishing the inner hole of the steel tube with a honing head is a key process for high-pressure cylinder tubes and precision hydraulic tubes. This process removes burrs from the inner hole, improves surface roughness (which can reach Ra 0.025μm), and at the same time corrects the roundness and cylindricity of the inner hole.Quality inspection covers dimensional inspection (outer diameter, wall thickness, straightness), surface defect inspection (visual inspection or eddy current testing), hydrostatic testing, and material composition analysis, ensuring that each steel tube complies with industrial standards (such as ISO 4394, GB/T 8713, etc.).In short, hydraulic steel tubes are the "blood vessels" of hydraulic systems.
